One of our most rewarding and important jobs is educating people about wildlife and the animals that we care for. For us this starts with children, as we believe the child who grows up loving nature and wanting to save it, will become an adult who takes action.
There is nothing better than seeing the look on a child's face when they interact with our birds of prey and the other species that we keep here. We hope that this guided interaction will inspire them to become the conservationists and animal lovers of the future.
Our educational talks are very hands on as we believe this is the best way for anyone to learn and retain knowledge. We cater for different ages, abilities and group sizes. As well as being able to bring a team of birds to your venue, you can also visit us at our centre in Congresbury where our flying arena can cater for over 500 people.
Just some of the places we visit are schools, colleges, universities, nurseries, playgroups, corporate events, support groups, hospices, church groups, and cub, scout, guide, brownie and rainbow packs.
Educational talks start from just £90 per hour and can be booked as regular sessions or one off visits. Please contact us for a quote and to discuss availability.
Over the past few years we have been involved with many different film and television productions.
We are fully licensed and insured and our professional team of staff and birds are happy to work with you on location and in studios but we can also train new birds for specific projects.
Recent projects include BBC One Show, BBC Wild Tales from the Village, Channel 5 Celebrity Wedding Planner and Cbeebies Andy's Aquatic Adventures.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking in order to secure your chosen date.
It is your responsibility to check with your venue that they are happy to have the birds on site. We suggest this is done prior to paying deposits. We can provide risk assessments and copies of our licenses and public liability insurance on request.
